The calm before the storm

Haha..very extreme title. Just thought of writing this down to serve as memory.

So yesterday...I was involved in a minor accident. I was headed somewhere else for work that day, a difference route, and halfway there I hit someone from the back, and she hit someone in front of her.  I would like to think I handled it quite well. Stopped my car by the side of the busy highway, came down and looked at the damage I caused.

So thankfully we were all woman, so no angry man involved. No shouting no drama just us, 3 woman on the way to work pretty clueless what to do next. They made some phone calls, took pictures of the damage, took pictures of my license and of me. =_= I saw a little girl buckled to a baby chair sitting at the back seat of the myvi I bumped into and I was so so thankful that everyone was okay.

Ugh idiot me. I was not focused. And I caused trouble for people and probably added more jam to the jam that morning. Anyways after the exchanging of numbers, and my 100th sorry we went our ways. Then I got into the car, started shaking, called my boyfriend and started sobbing.

I've made a police report, and fingers crossed everything will go smoothly with the insurance and repairs and all that.

Points to remember, point one focus sarah focus. Point two, do not be in a rush.

Xoxo, sarah t

Red lip

Do you fancy a red lip? actually I've been obsessed with it for some time, I just don't wear it out much afraid that it might look a little too much, so I leave the red lip for special occasions.

Here are some of red lip products that I use...I prefer gloss and stains compared to lip stick as the latter makes my lips chap..

1. Levres Fix’Intense Lipstick and Lipgloss by Yves Rocher in rose orchidee
-extremely long lasting and had a velvety finish..it has a gloss on the other end..but if you like the matte look you can leave it as it is, can get a little drying, but good for dinners where you wouldn't need to reapply.

2. Essence Stay With Me Long-Lasting Lipgloss in berry me
-this for me is a winner! It's very inexpensive and I love love it, I stumbled upon this brand at a Watson's drug store. It's not sticky, smells good and easy application. I've been trying to find a Watson's that carry this brand but have not..and I can't remember which one I bought it from.

3. Rouge Dior in celebrity red
-my favorite red lipstick, it's a bright red with slight orange under tones. Their best selling lip stick but think it has been discontinued...I wore this for my vintage photo shoot and it lasted the entire afternoon.

4.  Yves rocher pure laque in rouge captivant
According to their website it describes that it has the covering power of lipstick, as shiny as a gloss, this lip lacquer intensely colours the lips and highlights their plumpness. Intense, luminous colour that adheres to the lips perfectly without drying. I would add that it has very very fine glitter that gives it a pretty shine.

A red lip may look bold...but you never know until you try it!

Organizing my accesories

Over the years I have been collecting accessories, some purchased and some gifted...earrings, bracelets, beads..but I've never really organized them up till recently.

I found a very inexpensive way to organize them, especially for necklaces as they get tangled up easily. Bought this plastic storage box from Daiso with many small compartments and a wooden box for my hand bracelets. You can customize and paint the box as you like too if you don't like the default design.. I would make cute labels :) I might do that one day if I have the time. Its a really inexpensive way to organize your accessories at only rm5.

As for my dangling earrings, I bought a metal earring holder. I got mine a few years back at jonker walk for about rm 25. I'm pretty sure you can find these metal earrings holders at flea markets and night markets, I think I've seen them at the curve weekend market.

Have a great weekend!
P.s# my wardrobe is in a mess and I'm looking for a way to organize it.

My Bitter sweet relationship

With pole dance...i still remember a year back when I was surveying for pole dance classes in kl but never got to it because it was just too far away.

Finally I found a dancing studio that offered pole dance classes in pj only 10 minutes from where I live (I actually started with salsa, but switched) and waalah, it's been almost 6 classes, and I am starting to feel a tad bit of improvement and I'm starting to enjoy it,.except when I bruise all over and my body ache the next few days after. I still can't climb all the way up and touch the ceiling and I still suck on my left side...
I feel stronger and muscles building, despite my bf denying it :p.

Miss E said, push ups everyday, she even encouraged us to take up gymnastics on the weekends to strengthen ourselves: / eeek! There will be a recital come July-Aug..she chose a very burlesque genre song, something sexy but classy..haha a very thin Line between being sexy but not sleazy.
Today we learnt the hey boy and practiced the other moves, such as the back hook and the swan . Grrr...I must be able to climb all the way to the top by this month!
:) no pain, no gain
