awesome easy peasy japanesey cheese cake

Baked this cheese cake with Camille and her god sis during the holidays, it is cam's mums recipe which she used to bake it, and cam would bring to school and share with us, i remember it being very good so we gave it a try, and it came out equally good!

Before i lose the recipe, i better place it here in my blog. you can see from the recipe that it's a very rich cake. haha, really sinful!

Ingredients:
1) 450gm cream cheese
2) 2.5 ml of salt water
3) 1/2 lemon
4) 6-7 egg yolks
5) 50 gm icing sugar
6) 150gm flour
7) 600 gm whipping cream

Meringue:
1) 6 egg whites
2) 150 gm icing sugar

Method:
A)Mixture 1
1) Cream the cheese with icing sugar, salt till soft. Add lemon juice
2) Add in yolks one at a time

B)Mixture 2:
1) Blend whipping cream for about 5 minutes (speed 3) add flour.
note: the whipping cream i used was in liquid form

C)Mixture 3: (the meringue)
1) Beat egg white with sugar till stiff (speed 2)

D) Final step
1)Pour mixture 2 and 3 into 1 and cream evenly.
2) Line tray with baking sheet, pour batter into tray and bake in water bath in 150 Celsius for 2 hours.
Note: water bath is method where u put the tray with batter into another tray filled with water, so that the cake would be moist.




Back in Malacca and ready to start a new sem! results are not out yet though :-( *fingers crossed*

Sarah, ur cheesecake looks soooooooooo nice. I want to taste it but it can never sampai Cyberjaya or Subang Jaya. I should try to bake it one day.

wth.... give me abit only.. but u baked so much.... its like 1 mouth finish ad.. can say baked abit some more... picture does not lie... zzzzzz
