Malaysia's GE 13

All the hoohah which has been going on for a while has lead to today, my tanah air's 13th election.

I am a first time voter. And leading to this, I was flooded with information to be mindful about the dirty tricks that might be used which made me rather nervous...fast forward to today, I arrived at a primary school in melaka at about 9am. Everything was orderly, with a 50 meters line ahead of me. In about 20 minutes, I was in the school ready to be verified.

After I got inked on my finger, I carefully collected my 2 ballots, one for dun klebang and one more for parliament tangga batu and headed to my pooling booth. I cast my votes bearing in mind to not stain my paper. Soon after I dropped my ballots in the clear see through box. Thank you God for the smooth process.

I don't know how exactly the process will be after this, but I pray that my vote will be made count. Somehow nowadays every time I think about tanahairku where I spent all my life in, I get a pang of sadness. There are still a lot of goodness I encounter around me despite all the negativity and I hope she recovers soon to be healthy again.

I was baptised today, along with ken, joel, celine, andy, teng, aaron and wei jin. I'm very happy. Mummy came to witness it too. Brothers couldnt wake up , but they were happy for me and elder brother said, i support you. haha

bought my white dress of a boutique here in malacca, had a hard time walking cause of the length, need to get it altered if i ever wear it again and my clutch is vintage from mummy's closet :)

Ju brought home some balloons! I remember for my 18th birthday, van got me a bunch of helium balloons for me to let go into the sky. I have a thing for balloons, they make me happy. I'll let them go into the sky and watch them go higher and higher until i can no longer see them. I wonder how high a helium balloon can go, hmmmm........

I am super tight up with my final year project and other assignments right now.

How was your Christmas?

Christmas this year was delightful. Yen, my cousin together with me hosted a Christmas dinner with close friends and the food was good, the company was good! (will post pictures later on) My church play went extremely well and everything fall into place perfectly.

Saturday started with some thai with Kiran....quite some time since i met her. got to catch up with her on Friday, after work over booze and music, bollywood style. It was good fun.

multitasking baby

i think i am pretty good at multitasking, i did so many things today i feel pretty useful hehe

and i realized that football takes up a lot of a guys life,

went to prom Vince Chong did an opening about football,

i walk back from class, i can hear people talking so enthusiastically about football..

its like me being enthusiastic about eating a moist chocolate fudge cake (i want i want i want it now)

on a random note, i thought make up didn't make a big difference on me, but now i changed my mind.


my make up artist was awesome, although my eye were kinda hurting during make up, she kept putting eyeliner on my waterline, and kept asking me to close my eyes.

I'm the type of person, who can't close my eyes for long, its like i wanna see whats going on! so every time she took her brush off me i opened my eyes.

i never had on so much make up in my life, there was the base then the foundation then this than that...after removing my make up.

so finally i got a reply from Ericsson regarding my internship,
i will be working in Ericsson Cyberjaya under their Human Resource and Organization department for four months starting June 1st.

Phew!!!

I feel relieved not only because i can skip the hassle into looking for another company, but i can report for duty on June 1st.

At first i was really worried because we were suppose to start right after this trimester on May 17th which clashes with the holiday trips and everything has been booked..but after speaking to my coordinator he said can give and take around 2 weeks. so phewww thank God

I will be staying with my brother, his gf and my cousin in KL... hopefully they will accommodate me and not find me a burden...
