Sleek i-Divine make up palette

I recently purchased my first sleek i-divine make up palette from luxola.com, a singaporean beauty website. There was even a discount for your first time purchase, so this palette cost me less than rm50. Very reasonable for a palette with 12 colours. The best thing I like about this palette is it's compact size, makes it easy for me to bring it anywhere.

Colours are pigmented, comes with a mirror, only drawback is that it came with a sponge applicator instead of a brush...but hey for that price I still think it's a great buy. It has a compartment for the brush which makes it a major plus point for me.

Below is my favorite everyday look using the palette,
1. Highlight all over using a mixture of bow and organza.
2. Used wrapped up as all over eye lid colour.
3. Apply gift basket colour in the middle of my lids blending towards inner corners of my eyes.
4. Apply boxed colour at the outer crease and blend.
5. Go back with bow color to blend away any harsh lines and apply eyeliner.
6. Take organza colour and use to highlight inner corners and finish off with mascara.

Red lip

Do you fancy a red lip? actually I've been obsessed with it for some time, I just don't wear it out much afraid that it might look a little too much, so I leave the red lip for special occasions.

Here are some of red lip products that I use...I prefer gloss and stains compared to lip stick as the latter makes my lips chap..

1. Levres Fix’Intense Lipstick and Lipgloss by Yves Rocher in rose orchidee
-extremely long lasting and had a velvety finish..it has a gloss on the other end..but if you like the matte look you can leave it as it is, can get a little drying, but good for dinners where you wouldn't need to reapply.

2. Essence Stay With Me Long-Lasting Lipgloss in berry me
-this for me is a winner! It's very inexpensive and I love love it, I stumbled upon this brand at a Watson's drug store. It's not sticky, smells good and easy application. I've been trying to find a Watson's that carry this brand but have not..and I can't remember which one I bought it from.

3. Rouge Dior in celebrity red
-my favorite red lipstick, it's a bright red with slight orange under tones. Their best selling lip stick but think it has been discontinued...I wore this for my vintage photo shoot and it lasted the entire afternoon.

4.  Yves rocher pure laque in rouge captivant
According to their website it describes that it has the covering power of lipstick, as shiny as a gloss, this lip lacquer intensely colours the lips and highlights their plumpness. Intense, luminous colour that adheres to the lips perfectly without drying. I would add that it has very very fine glitter that gives it a pretty shine.

A red lip may look bold...but you never know until you try it!

Urban Decay Smoked 24/7 glide on eye pencil set review and swatches

I received this Urban Decay Smoked 24/7 glide on eye pencil from my boyfriend's mum for my birthday last year, and only up to recently I have been able to try out each one of them.

They have 6 shades, their most famous one being the color zero, followed by their other colours smog, Uzi, demolition, empire and mainline. They are very kohl like liners.

Pigmentation and application: they are very pigmented and extremely easy to glide on. Major plus point as it doesn't tug on my lids. However, they require a good eye-makeup remover to be thoroughly removed.

Uzi is my favorite colour. It's black with a little shimmer, and on days when I'm in a hurry, I use them as an all over lid colour.
Mainline is a fun beautiful almost dark teal colour, I love it for adding a pop of colour to the bottom waterline.

I have tried blending these colours with eye makeup, and they weren't very easy to blend, maybe it was because they are really pigmented, maybe it's just me, but you can create the smokey look by smudging a little eyeshadow over the liner.

Instead of getting the whole set you might want to choose a few colours that you like and will use often, and i might suggest you getting them full sized as these are travel size. These pencils have been really useful for me while traveling, or when I have a sleep over, I'll just chuck them into my bag and I don't have to worry about bringing my make up palette or brushes. To sum it up, if you like  kohl like liners, they are definitely worth getting. You can find these at Sephora.

After washing with soap and water
An eye look using just 3 colours from the set. Uzi all over lid, zero for the top liner and mainline for my bottom waterline.
