those kinda days

you know days where you wake up feeling unpretty or down cause you had a bad day or you developed a swollen jaw for instance (my case).

and then comes a friend telling you that you're beautiful despite all that.

those moments are priceless.

: D tell your loved ones and friends how beautiful they are to you, they might just need to be reminded.

ps: beauty is not just exterior mind u

blooming trees

I love trees, and more than trees, i love trees that flower. As i was walking back from campus today, i couldn't help notice the flowers scattered on the ground. Flowering trees, it has the kind of beauty that makes my heart ache a little.

It reminded me of the time i was exploring the Ayutthaya ruins in Thailand. Amidst all the neutral and earthy shades of the ruins, there stood trees, blooming with red flowers. The whole place was scattered with them. It was as if the trees brought in life, and color to what was left there.

Much love,
sarah
